Boating accident leaves two injured and one arrested

A boating accident on Saturday resulted in two injured individuals and one man arrested, according to WKYM Radio.
The head-on collision happened near Lowgap Island on Lake Cumberland. According to Sergeant Travis Neal with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, the accident caused two individuals to be transported to the Russell County Hospital with minor injuries. Terry Ashley, 48, of Nicholasville, was arrested for several charges, including wanton endangerment and operating a boat while intoxicated or under the influence. Ashley was taken to the Russell County Detention Center.

Before you sail out to open water, double-check that you have these essential boat parts or even boat accessories with you: life vests, ladders, drop anchor, lines, paddles, lettering kits, stabilizers, lights, danger marks, other safety features such as first-aid medications, some forms of repair equipment like tiny construction tools and screwdrivers, and also, your registration. You don’t know what could happen in the future; buying those tools and accessories might reduce stress or even save your life. It’s not only about your safety but also about your workers and your passengers. The life vests must always be accessible at the central area of the vessel.

It would be better if every boat owner had life jackets there, but many people are not used to this idea. There is nothing weird about equipping your boat with the perfect safety tools. Even though buyers have bought the basic tools, buyers could also order some extra devices and even boat accessories to answer all situations. These include boat heaters, luxurious skis, boat fenders, fish finders, wetsuits, other water sports needs, mobile phones, swim platforms, and speakers. These things may not seem important, but users should have these kinds of boating accessories. The weather is temporary or permanent, so prepare your crew and boat for any situation.

Another point ise to research what and where boat owners can order these essential boat accessories. They will work for you in the long run, so don’t decide hastily. Even skipping something minor can turn into a difficult situation in the future. We all know what boats are; they are little concave structures that float on the water’s surface. Whether a paper boat or a real-life wooden boat, ships are always the same and serve the same purpose. They help carry material, human beings, animals, and many other things across the watery maze of rivers, oceans, and small streams. We had made paper boats when we were kids and had seen them float on the park’s water.

But, the first big remarkable boat must have been Noah’s ark. This was a boat too, but one which was very big and capable of holding a pair of all the animals in the world. Noah used his boat to save his family and the world, and we use the boat more for recreation as time passes. Although boating, rather than boat racing, has become a means of income for man, boats’ basic function has remained the same: transportation across water bodies.

Over time, boats and their designs have evolved drastically. Now, we have various ships, each suited for a particular purpose. We have racing boats, sailing boats, cruising boats, high sea boats, riverboats, upstream boats, and many more. This article will end with the names of the various kinds of boats available today and used to date. But we are here to talk about the ships and designs we use. Very briefly, let me mention a few vessels and structures of these boats.
