A boating accident on Saturday resulted in two injured individuals and one man arrested, according to WKYM Radio.
The head-on collision happened near Lowgap Island on Lake Cumberland. According to Sergeant Travis Neal with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, the accident caused two individuals to be transported to the Russell County Hospital with minor injuries. Terry Ashley, 48, of Nicholasville was arrested for several charges, including wanton endangerment and operating a boat while intoxicated or under the influence. Ashley was taken to the Russell County Detention Center.
