Bodybuilding meet on March 24

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Amateur Bodybuilding Association (CABBA) and Panjab University Student Council will organize the thirtieth Senior and twenty-eighth Junior Mr. Chandigarh Bodybuilding, 3rd Women Fitness, and 5th Men’s Physique Open Weight Championships on March 24 on the Panjab University regulation auditorium. The weighing-in may be hung on March 23 between 3 pm and 6 pm at the CABBA Office, Sector 17.
The championship will be organized in eight categories: under 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 100kg, above 100kg (for the senior event), and 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and above 80kg (for the junior occasion). The Pre-judging might be held at the posedown venue at 10 am. A total cash prize of Rs. 2 00,000 can be offered to the winners. The members must bring different proof of age ( up to 23 years) at the tournament.
TNS CGC Jhanjeri boys win silver Mohali: CGC Jhanjeri boys claimed 2nd function in the Inter-College Cricket Tournament, organized by Punjab Technical University. In the final, CGC Jhanjeri boys confronted a 28-run defeat against CT College, Jalandhar. In the knock-out level, the Jhanjeri outfit defeated CGC Landran with 58 runs, Rayat Group of Institutes by way of six wickets, and Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College via five wickets. TNS
Cricket meets from March 26 Mohali: The IVCA Cricket Academy, Derabassi, will organize the First Late Amar Singh Dhanda Memorial Inter Academy U-15 League Cricket Tournament from March 26. The event might be scheduled on a league cum knock-out basis. A general of four groups–Green Valley Cricket Academy (Kharar), Mohit Cricket Academy (Panchkula), Sunrise Cricket Academy (Zirakpur), and Indus Valley Cricket Academy (Derabassi)—will take part in the championship. The Black Panthers defeated IDFC Bank with six wickets in the continued Friendship Cup. Batting first, IDFC Bank published 89 runs before getting all-out in 18.Four overs. Harpreet (17) and Malkeet (14) were the main scorers for the aspect. Saurabh (3/21) turned into the main wicket-taker for the bowling side. In reply, the Black Panthers scored 91/4 in 12.5 overs with the help of Abhishek Shukla (33) and Shankar (18). Piyush (1/17) became the handiest leading wicket-takers for the side.TNS
